Two students dissect the work
I Just returned to the states from a week long trip to Germany. I met up with the students at IMTEK- The Institute of Microsystem Technology at the University of Freiburg. I did a presentation of my work then conducted a workshop showing them how to fold paper- they plan on using paper folding techniques on the micro (and possibly nano) scale! One student was looking to adapt a rotating design I made into an aperture for optical devices. There is so much to discover on such a tiny level!
I had a few days to check out Freiburg and the black forest. Tried to find a cuckoo clock but was unlucky in my attempts.
