NSF meeting

Our team met altogether for the first time this past week at the studio.  The University thought it would be a good idea to take pictures and video of our brainstorming session.  Here are a few shots.

Here's some in process pics of the new piece.  It's made from 150 feet of black tyvek.  Come see the final piece this September at the Art Directors Club in NYC.  Pretty sure I'll be speaking on Friday the 14th at the show.  More info to follow.

NSF GRANT

Penland

 

I spent the the last 2 weeks teaching a class at Penland School of Crafts.  My students were incredible, the school was idyllic, the food was delicious.  I'm not ready for the real world.

I have a few pieces in a show at the Center for Book and Paper arts.  It opens this Friday- if you are in Chicago check it out- there are a ton of amazing artists in the show (Chuck Close, Richard Tuttle...)
